3 Certified copy of ID & work permit
Training consists of:
- How to inspect fall arrest equipment (Practical)
- How to correctly fit a harness (Practical)
- Legislation (Verbal introduction)
- Ascending & descending techniques (Practical)
- Various methods for working at heights (Practical)
- Test (Practical & theory)
- Workplace experience (Done at workplace & signed off by supervisor)
Competent students will receive a licence to operate from the IWH (Institute for Working at Heights) valid for three (3) years for the Unit Standard 229998 & a Certificate of Competence.
